It is a free-of-charge application that allows you to purchase, download, and install map updates on your navigation. To do this, you will need: a USB flash drive (recommended size at least 8GB) broadband internet connection one of the supported operating systems, installed on your computer: Windows 7 or later, OS X 10.10 or later | | --- | | **SYNCRONIZE THE USB DRIVE WITH THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM **   1. Insert a blank USB flash drive into MG Navigation and turn on the head unit. Make sure that no other USB flash drive has been connected. A status screen is displayed showing the progress.   2. Go to **Settings/System** and by the Update Navigation field tap **Start**. The system asks you to confirm that you want to prepare the storage media for an update. Now you can disconnect the USB flash drive from your MG System.   ![](https://image.notification-naviextras.com/lib/fe5915707c610c797311/m/1/213ef7d5-aa99-4ad2-b7f7-0cc09c6f20e8.jpg) | | --- | | **DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING NAVIEXTRAS TOOLBOX** Visit [https://mgtouch.naviextras.com](https://mgtouch.naviextras.com/shop/portal/downloads), create your profile, select your device and [download the Naviextras Toolbox](https://mgtouch.naviextras.com/shop/portal/downloads). After installation, start it, set up your language and follow the instructions on the screen and once the installation is complete, click Finish. Insert to your PC/laptop the USB flash drive which contains the saved data of your MG Navigation. Naviextras Toolbox will automatically recognize the navigation data. Naviextras Toolbox requires you to **log in** to your Naviextras account to purchase new content or update your existing maps. Create your personal account by providing: - your name and a valid email address - your country of residence - a password Do not forget to tick the checkbox for notifications about the latest available maps! Log in or register an account to start the purchasing process. See the steps above. 1. Click on the Buy maps on the Home screen of Naviextras Toolbox. Here you can browse the list of available maps.   In addition to maps, by clicking on the Buy extra contents option on the Home screen, you can purchase other contents, such as 3D extras, safety cameras, petrol prices, traffic information or places of interest. 2. Select the item that you would like to purchase and click Read more.There may be more than one option available for purchase. Choose the option that fits your needs and click Add to cart.   3. The content of your shopping cart is displayed. Check that the correct items are in the cart, accept the Purchase Terms by ticking the checkboxes and click Checkout. The system prompts you again to verify your order. Click Invoice address to continue with the order or click Back to cart to go back to your shopping cart and modify its content.   4. Enter your invoice credentials: name, address, city, ZIP. If the invoice address is correct, click on Next and the Pricing Information screen appears. Click Payment. Wait until the payment page loads. Select your payment method and country. 5. Enter your credit card details and click Submit. You are redirected to the screen where you can see the new packages available to install. After successfully purchsing your content, go back to your device. In the Inapp shop select Purchased items. Tap on the content that you would like to Install and start the process. Wait until it is complete.  NOTE: Available contents depend on your region. DOWNLOADING CONTENTS IN THE INAPP SHOP   After successfully purchasing the map update in the Naviextras Toolbox, you are redirected to the screen where you can see the new packages available to install. You don't need to click on Install button, you can install the update directly on your navigation system.   Start your navigation device and select Shop menu Select map update and click on the download icon. The system asks you to confirm that you want to prepare the storage media for an update. Selecting the “Map of Thailand” button will show the detailed description of the update package such as: Version of the new map package, Size of the map package, Free map update right license information, Additional information about map data ​​​​ Note: Map package contains update for: map data, POI data, 3D Landmark and building, driver alert information, address point information.   After the map update package download has been started the progress indicator shows the percentage of the download process. Download can be paused and continued anytime.   After the download process has finished the system will prompt the end-user to restart the navigation software in order to install the new map package version. After Restarting the Navigation software, the new map package update will appear as “installed”, and it is ready to use, no further action required from the user. “Purchased Items” menu shows the packages/contents which have been purchased already or the free map update packages which been downloaded and claimed already. In this case the “Map of Thailand” free map update for the users who are eligible for free map data update within the 1 year activation period.   | | --- |
